This newer model Victorian home in Windsor, CT underwent a roof replacement along with brand new frieze boards. We got started by tearing off a single layer of existing roofing materials and giving the wood roof deck a thorough inspection. All decking was re-secured where it was necessary with ring-shank plywood nails, and all damaged plywood was replaced. A new roofing system was installed with extended ice & water shield, in addition to new crown molding and a reinstalled weather vane on the turret secured with exterior grade screws.  

This home located in Rocky Hill, CT was in need of a brand new roof. The shingles were suffering from old age and crumbling from wear and tear. We stripped the old roof off and replaced 3 sheets of damaged plywood decking so that the new roof would have a good foundation. We then installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Shield to ensure that the interior of the home is protected from outside moisture. For the new shingles, architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color Driftwood. To protect the chimney from any leaking going forward we replaced all of the lead flashing. 

This raised ranch built in 1974 was in need of a roof replacement. Klaus Larsen Roofing started by tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials and replacing 5 layers of damaged plywood decking. Next we installed Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Oakridge Shingles in the color Onyx Black. Lastly we removed and replaced flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing. 

Home had moss, leaks, old flashing, and mold occurring in various areas of the roof. 

This asphalt shingled roof was over 60 years old. The house was built in 1939 and the roof needed to be replaced. They chose to install a full Klaus Roofing System. We first replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down our Klaus Larsen Roofing SealoronXT Ice & Water self-sealing membrane to create a moisture barrier between the decking and the shingles. For even more protection, we installed our own Velora One Underlayment, a high performance synthetic underlayment designed to protect the home in even the most severe weather. For new asphalt shingles, we installed IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles, in the color Summit Gray chosen by the homeowner, featuring a 1-1/4" nailing area made with a tough reinforcing woven band for incredible nail-holding power to protect the home against Mother Nature's fury.
