This small colonial home in Cobalt, CT was in need of a roof replacement. We started off this project by tearing away and disposing of one layer of asphalt roofing. Next, we installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier as well as a layer of Synthetic Underlayment to protect the home from rain and snow. For the shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Brown colorway. To finish off this job we installed a ridge vent to keep the attic ventilated, as well as replacing the vent pipe boot. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
This single-family colonial style home was in need of a new roof and trusted Klaus Larsen Roofing with the job. We started by tearing off and disposing of all roofing materials and installing new plywood decking over the existing structural framing of the home. We installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Grey. Lastly, we removed and replaced all flashing on the chimney with brand new flashing, to prevent leakage. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
This one-family colonial home in Manchester, CT was due for a roof replacement. To start this project we tore off and disposed of one layer of asphalt roofing. We then inspected the roof decking and replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier and then a layer of Synthetic Underlayment to repel water and protect from inclement weather. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Dynasty Shingles in the Granite Black colorway. To finish off this project we installed a new chimney flashing and vent pipe boot. This colonial home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
To begin this job we started by tearing away one layer of existing roofing material. Next, we evaluated the condition of the roof decking and determined that there were 3 sheets that were damaged and needed replacing. After the sheets of plywood decking were replaced, we then installed two rows of IKO Storm Shield Ice & Water Barrier as well as a synthetic underlayment to provide the home protection from the elements. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles in the Atlantic Blue colorway. To finish the job we installed a ridge vent to maintain consistent attic ventilation and we also installed a brand new vent pipe boot.
This was a duplex style home built in 1942, located in residential Manchester, CT. It had 3-tab shingles, which are not known to last as long as architectural shingles. Restored chimney flashing, a properly functioning system of ventilation, and a thermostat controlled solar fan were all included with this project.
