After tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials, the damaged plywood was replaced. Three rows of Ice & Water Sheild was installed, along with a Synthetic Underlayment that is engineered to repel water. The old chimney flashing was replaced with new, lead flashing. The existing vent pipe boot was replaced with a black, Perma-Boot. Architectural-style asphalt shingles  in the color of Driftwood, were used which have a 10 year algae-resistance warranty and a 130 MPH wind resistance warranty. This roof is ready for the spring and summer weather by the shoreline!
