Lynn in Griswold, CT reached out to us after dealing with ongoing leaks in a few problem areas on her home. One of the main concerns was where the porch connects to the house, where visible water damage had started to show. She was also experiencing an active leak around a skylight. After contacting her insurance company, she was advised to try sealing the skylight with caulking, but even after her husband addressed it, the leak continued. Since Lynn and her family purchased the home about six years ago, the exact age of the roof was unknown, which made it harder to pinpoint how much life was left in the existing system. After a full inspection, it was clear the roof and flashing details were no longer doing their job and repairs alone wouldn’t provide a reliable, long-term solution. We worked closely with Lynn to walk through her options and ultimately completed a full roof replacement to properly address the leaks and protect the home moving forward. The new roof was finished with IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Granite Black, giving the home a clean, updated look along with dependable protection she can feel confident in.
This home had no gutters before we got there. The homeowners decided they would make a bold statement by adding black gutters on their white house!

Starr in North Grosvenordale, CT, was looking for a reliable roofing contractor for her roofing needs. After living in the home for 11 years and being unsure of the roof's age, she noticed moss growth on the back of the roof and decided it was time for a replacement. We installed a full roof replacement on Starr's home in the color Granite Black with the IKO Dynasty shingles after removing all of the old shingles and damaged plywood and applying the waterproofing seals. Now Starr's home is prepared for the New England weather, with a roof that will last for years to come! The Klaus Roofing Way!
This was a great project for Klaus Larsen. The Central Assembly of God in Wauregan, CT was experiencing leaks due to the fascia and the roof was partially metal and partially shingle. After replacing the damaged plywood, three rows of Ice & Water was installed. Underlayment was installed, which is engineered to repel water. White aluminum drip edge/rake flashing was installed along the outside perimeter of the roof. CertainTeed Landmark architectural shingles were used to match the recently installed roof slopes. The color was Charcoal Black.
