Roof Replacement in Hope Valley, RI

Juliet in Hope Valley, RI, reached out after the older roof on her home began showing signs that it was time for a full replacement. With the roofing system aging and the home still built with original plank decking in certain areas, the goal was to upgrade the roof properly and improve long-term performance.

As part of the project, our crew installed new CDX plywood across the entire second-story roof to create a stronger and more stable foundation for the new roofing system. This step helps improve the overall durability of the roof and provides a solid surface beneath the shingles.

To help the home ventilate properly, we also installed AirFlow Complete intake ventilation along all eaves of the second-story roof. Proper airflow is important for reducing trapped heat and moisture in the attic, which can help prevent issues such as mold, premature shingle aging, and ice dams during the winter months.

The new roofing system was built using SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in vulnerable areas, VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the roof deck, and SealoronXT Deck Tape to protect the seams between the plywood. The project was finished with shingles in the color Summit Gray, giving the home a fresh updated appearance while providing dependable long-term protection.

With the roof replacement complete, Juliet’s home now has an upgraded roofing system designed for better ventilation, stronger structural support, and lasting durability.

Roof Replacement in Chepachet, RI

Matthew in Chepachet, RI, contacted us after noticing a leak forming above one of the dining room windows. The home was built in 1988, and after living there for about 10 years without knowing the true age of the roof, he wanted to get ahead of the issue before the damage spread further. Once our crew removed the old roofing materials, we discovered sections of rotten plywood beneath the shingles that had been allowing moisture to enter the home over time. The weakened decking was contributing to the leak issues, so we replaced the damaged plywood to restore a strong, solid foundation for the new roofing system.

As part of the project, we also installed three new Velux skylights to upgrade the older units and improve long-term protection around those openings. In addition, three new permanent pipe boots were installed to help prevent future leaks around roof penetrations.

The roof was rebuilt using SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in vulnerable areas, VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the decking, and SealoronXT Deck Tape along the plywood seams for added moisture defense beneath the shingles.

To complete the transformation, Matthew selected IKO shingles in Brownstone, giving the home a clean, updated appearance along with dependable protection for years to come.

Roof Replacement in Northborough, MA

Rusian and Kate in Northborough, MA, had a 25-year-old roof that was starting to show its age. During heavy rain, they noticed leaks in several areas, which prompted them to proceed with a full roof replacement on their home. Our team began by removing the old shingles and inspecting the wood decking underneath. We found a few soft spots around the boots and replaced up to three sheets of rotten plywood to make sure the new roof had a solid foundation. Next, we covered the gable vents so we could install proper ridge venting, which will allow the attic to breathe and prevent future issues with moisture and heat buildup. While up there, we also cleared away two old satellite dishes that were no longer being used. Once the prep work was done, we installed our full Klaus Larsen Roofing system with SealoronXT Deck Tape, SealoronXT Ice & Water, and VeloraONE Underlayment for maximum protection. The new roof was finished with IKO Dynasty shingles in Granite Black, giving the home a clean, modern look with strength to last for decades.
