Derby homeowner Jessica reached out to Brown Roofing knowing her roof, now around 25 to 30 years old, was nearing the end of its lifespan. Our crew removed the old shingles, inspected the plywood foundation, and replaced any damaged areas before installing a fresh layer of protection with ice and water shield and synthetic underlayment. This roof had water damage and general wear and tear from old age, there was even moss and algae growing on the roof. We also took care of the rotting roof on their garage. After we got the shingles up we saw that the original roof had used a wood shake decking layer. Since that style is outdated we ripped it up and replaced it with a stronger plywood decking layer. The customer wanted to go with our IKO Dynasty Shadow Brown Shingles which perfectly complemented the rest of the house, and to ensure that their roof wouldn't leak again we layered Ice and water along with an underlayment. The customer was extremely happy with their roof which is guaranteed for the next 50 years.
