The old siding on this home in North Haven was aged and worn. This homeowner chose the Brown Roofing team to give their home a brand new look. Our crew got this job started by removing the old siding. Next they applied house wrap all over the house to prepare for the new siding. This customer chose the color Cypress for their new vinyl siding. This beautiful new siding customizes the home to fit the customer's preferences, and makes the home look as good as new. 

The Brown Roofing team gave this home a fresh new look with a brand new roof. Our crew members installed all new IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Frostone. This brand new roof will keep this home safe and dry, all while maintaining an amazing look.

Brown Won't Let You Down!

This roof was a treat for our team due to it being on the smaller size and its simplistic shape. The first step to a roof replacement is always demolition. We started by ripping up the old shingles and after inspecting the decking layer underneath we decided that replacing it was unnecessary. The decking layer on this house is called a tongue and groove. This style of decking layer is slightly outdated but not enough to where it needed to be replaced. The wood was also in very good condition and replacing it would be an unneeded expense for our customer so they opted to reuse this layer. Reusing a decking layer is in no way an inferior way of doing things and as long as the wood is in good condition there is no need for a new one. Once this was established we started laying down the underlayment and Ice and Water these layers adds extra protection to the home and prevents water from getting through the decking layer if the shingles were to ever be damaged. Finally, the shingles are installed and this customer decided on our IKO Dynasty Monaco Red shingles which looked absolutely stunning and matched perfectly with the rest of this home.
