This Ridgefield, CT homeowner was experiencing a leak in his sunroom. Brown Roofing identified and fixed the leak and replaced an entire section of the roof.

Granule loss, surface cracks, and an aging roof nearing the end of its lifespan made any repairs on the old roof impossible. The homeowner chose to replace the roof using IKO Dynasty Summit Gray shingles.

For this job, our team did a full roof replacement for this homeowner. This includes ripping up the old shingles and decking layer and making sure there is no rot inside the attic. We then replaced the decking layer and laid down an underlayment along with Ice and Water and these layers act as extra insulation and protection for the roof. Finally, we install the shingles and this customer chose our GAF Charcoal Shingles. These shingles in combination with the siding completely transformed this home.

Initially reported as a roof leak our inspection uncovered extensive wood rot in the decking underneath the shingles. The homeowner chose to replace the entire roof with IKO Dynasty  shingles in Castle Grey.

For this house, our team did a full roof replacement. After inspecting the roof we determined that they had an extreme amount of damage all over. Although there was a lot of damage it was mostly smaller issues equating to a large one. This roof suffered from broken and leaking shingles, along with algae growth and mold. The broken shingles caused water to leak through the roof and into the attic. This rotting wood tends to attract bugs like termites. We removed the old shingles and decking layer. Next, we laid down the new decking layer along with Ice and Water, and underlayment to seal the roof. Finally, we installed new IKO Dynasty Granite Black Shingles and now this customer can be confident that their new roof will keep them dry and safe no matter what the future hold.
