Ms. Brenda of Fairburn, GA contacted Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta because she was interested in finding out about the different options we had to offer as far as gutter replacement goes.  She made mention that the gutter guard system she currently had on her home was outdated and the screens she had on her gutters were not working.  They were allowing things to gather on top of her gutters and causing rain to make a waterfall at her front door.  She was worried if there were other damages on her home that she was not able to see with her novice eye. 

We sent our gutter design specialist James out to meet with the homeowner.  She wanted him to take a look at everything from the guards, the gutters and to see how the fascia board was behind her gutters.  James looked at everything for her and luckily the only thing he recommend was replacing the gutters.  Her fascia was fine with no obvious signs of wood rot.  The gutter guards she had on her home weren't functioning properly so it was time for an upgrade.

When the original gutters on Tammie’s South Fulton home went up in 2005, the house was brand new. Nearly two decades of Georgia storms later, they were showing their age. Before calling in a gutter contractor, Greater Springfield Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, was dealing with a section of gutter that had completely torn away from the fascia and was left hanging along the roofline. Church representative Terrance reported the issue and requested an estimate on both the repair and the underlying cause, since a gutter failure of this size is rarely random. The old system consisted of 110 linear feet of open K-style gutters that had been in place for years, gradually weakened by storm exposure and a fascia board no longer strong enough to support the weight of the gutter and hangers.
