A basement in Petersburg, Illinois, had some water seepage issues that the current sump pump was not resolving. Plastic pipes are laid directly underneath the floor and sit on top of the soil to prevent clogging from dirt or other debris. A foundation was cracking in Saint Libory, IL. Water was leaking from these cracks and causing mold to grow. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was first installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any further inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. Next, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain dry, clean, and stable for years to come!
