In Lakewood, Illinois homeowner Brad L. wanted to waterproof his basement. Rainwater was coming into his basement where the floor meets the wall. His basement was finished and contained his children’s bedrooms. Therefore, it was important for him to have it fixed. This homeowner in Beecher City, IL, had an extremely leaky basement. Every time it rained, water would flood the basement. To remedy this, the WaterGuard perimeter drainage system was installed to collect the water along the walls and drain it into the sump pump, where it's then pumped out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. These systems will keep this basement dry all the time!
