WaterGuard and EverLast Walls Create Cleaner and Drier Basement in Mt. Vernon, IL

Mount Vernon homeowenrs Alan and Nancy had water coming into their basement. They decided it was time to give Woods Basement Systems a call and Team Woods devleoped the perfect plan for them.

First, Foreman Mason and his crew installed WaterGuard and CleanSpace. The CleanSpace goes on the wall and is a vapor barrier that catches any water that seeps in through the porous foundation walls. It leads this water to the WaterGuard, which also collects water coming in through gaps in foundation pouring, and the WaterGuard leads the water to the sump pump.

Then, Foreman John and his crew installed EverLast Walls to replace the bottom half of the walls that were molding and rotting. EverLast Walls are inorganic so they will not give mod and allergens a place to grow. They also save money because they are easy to clean, never need painted, and are damage resistant.

Alan and Nancy can now put their basement back together, give their dehumidifiers a break, and enjoy the dry clean air.
