A concrete patio in front of a home was sinking in House Springs, MO, causing large cracks to appear. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. This is a unique approach to repairing sinking concrete.  After drilling small holes into the concrete, a polymer foam is injected into the concrete slab to stabilize the surface. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slabs back up. This will improve the safety and enjoyment of the patio for years to come!

Cindy W was concerned when she noticed that the walkway outside of her home was uneven. So, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jeremy K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman William T used PolyLevel to even out the concrete on Cindy’s sidewalk. PolyLevel is injected into the sinking portion of the concrete and will raise the level of concrete that is sinking. The injection leaves behind a dime sized hole that will be filled in with concrete.

This homeowner's porch in Hillsboro, MO, was settling, causing cracks between the concrete and the house, as well as making the pillar unstable. To solve this, the PolyLevel system was injected into the concrete through pea-sized holes, which will fill in the gaps under the concrete and level it out. This closes cracks over time, and the NexusPro system was also used to fill larger gaps to prevent further cracking. Now this porch will stay level for years to come!

High-density foam was injected beneath the concrete slabs to lift and stabilize the affected sections. Once the concrete was properly leveled, cracks were repaired to restore a smooth, secure surface. The project was completed with a durable joint sealant to help prevent moisture intrusion and protect the concrete from future damage. The final image highlights the finished entryway, now level, safe, and ready for use.
