Stan and Mary have lived in their home for over ten years and they have recently noticed more rain then they use to get which concerned them. They had goals to one day finish the basement, but before they could do that they needed to make sure that their basement was going to stay dry. When they contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems they were just looking to see what they needed to have done. Design Specialist Troy Hamilton went above and beyond to help them understand all of the issues with their space and how he could help them. After Troy explained the options for the home Stan and Mary decided that a full water guard perimeter and a sump pump were the best options for them and the health of their home. The patented WaterGuard system is designed to meet these challenges and keep your basement dry. WaterGuard is engineered so it doesn't sit in the dirt so that it does not get clogged by silt and sediment under the floor. The WaterGuard System is applicable to all types of foundations including block, poured concrete and stone. Along with the WaterGuard system Stan and Mary also had a TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump is a three-pump system that comes with a battery back-up and a WaterWatch Alarm. With the battery back up you can make sure that the pump runs even if you have power issues during a storm. The WaterWatch Alarm is to make sure you know if the water gets to high in the pump.

Heidi was tired of her dirty crawl space and wanted to have it fixed. MidAmerica Basement Systems came and used the patented CleanSpace encapsulation system to treat the issue. Heidi E. now has a clean and bright crawl space. 

This homeowner had an old sump pump that was not keeping all the water out of her basement. We installed a SuperSump to help fix this problem.

During heavy rains, Scott’s waterproof system worked properly, but it would cause large puddling outside his home. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have a longer discharge line installed to prevent the puddling around his home. A 30-foot discharge line was installed to ensure that the water was properly diverted down the hill and away from this home. Service technician Adao precisely and effectively installed the discharge line to make it look like it was always there. Scott no longer worries of puddling water around the outside of his home.

The old sump pump pictured is unreliable, susceptible to problems sure to give the homeowner a run for their money. Instead of battling with the old sump pump, the homeowners called MidAmerica Basement Systems and had the SuperSump installed in it's stead. The SuperPump comes with an airtight lid, airtight drain system, cast iron zoeller pump, and the WaterWatch alarm system designed to act as a flood preventative measure. 

With the patented SuperSump, the homeowner has more assurance and confidence than before with the old sump pump.
