Homeowners Lee and Diane contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems when they were having radon concerns. Having a radon mitigation system installed in their home was very important to them. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. The radon mitigation system has been installed on t outside of the home along with the aesthetic cover. This cover offers a pleasing look along with the added protection from outdoor elements.

Ben’s home was recently built in 2005 but has tested his home for radon twice now and this time the reading are much higher than before. Ben is very concerned about his family’s health and wanted to make sure a creditable and experienced company took take care of his problems. He called Mid America Basement Systems because we were on Angie’s List Super Service Award for 2017.  Our crew leader, Bill Wilcox is our certified radon mitigation specialist who did the install of our Mitigation System. Ben and his family can now breathe better knowing radon levels in his home have been lowered.

Alaine of Iowa City, IA tested her home for radon and was surprised that the results came back greater than 2x higher than the EPA's recommended safe radon levels. She met with design specialist Cole Tatge of MidAmerica Basmenet Systems, and slected a mitigation system for aesthetics and functionality. Foreman Bill wilcox and his team installed the system, and Alaine is very happy with her radon-reduced home.
