Winslow, ME homeowners were inundated with water in their basement, especially in the springtime when the snow would melt. They called TC Hafford Basement Systems for a free estimate on improvements to keep their basement dry. We upgraded their dirt floor basement to a new slab floor, complete with WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. We also installed a new TripleSafe sump pump, the top of the line pump system. WaterGuard collects water and channels it directly to the TripleSafe to be pumped away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line. The discharge line has IceGuard installed to prevent it from freezing up in the winter months. The homeowners no longer have to battle trying to clean up water in their basement!
Homeowners experienced major issues when their wet basement ruined an air exchanger and caused mildew throughout the house. They were planning to sell the home and needed help resolving the water intrusion so they called TC Hafford Basement Systems for help. To address their issues, we first poured a new slab floor with WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. Next we added SuperSump pump system to collect the water from WaterGuard and pump it away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line. CleanSpace Wall System was installed on the basement walls to act as a vapor barrier, sealing out moisture and providing a fresh, clean look. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system was installed to both control the humidity, as well as filter the air. The owners can confidently move forward with selling the home knowing they have protected both their investment and the buyer's best interest.
Boothbay Harbor, ME homeowners had previously had work done by TC Hafford Basement Systems to install our Gutter Shutter seamless gutters. When they realized they had basement water intrusion issues, they called us back to give a free estimate. We prepped the floor with drainage matting and WaterGuard perimeter drainage system before pouring a new slab floor. CleanSpace Wall system was installed on the walls to act as a vapor barrier, sealing moisture out and giving a fresh clean look to the space. The WaterGuard channels water to their new TripleSafe sump pump system, which pumps water away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line. The TripleSafe has two Zoeller pumps, as well as a battery back up pump in the event of power loss. The homeowners can now enjoy their dry and usable basement!
Having to contend with moisture accumulating in their basement using nothing but fans, this homeowner living in Windsor, ME needed a better way to keep the water at bay. After talking with our staff at TC Hafford Basement Systems and receiving their free estimate, this homeowner was ready to have us solve their wet basement problem with a new sump. Shortly after clearing a space and excavating a fresh sump, a SuperSump pump was installed in the floor of the basement. The SuperSump device is capable of removing water from the home at a rate of over 2,600 gallons of water per hour. This water flows out of the home through a PVC discharge line. On the exterior of the home, an IceGuard pipe segment as well as a LawnScape discharge port were attached to the discharge line. The IceGuard will protect against ice forming in the line while the LawnScape port provides a grate over the end of the line to keep debris from entering and causing blockages.
With a proper sump pump now installed in their basement floor, this homeowner can spend less time trying to keep their floor dry and more time relaxing. The SuperSump pump will keep this basement water-free for years to come!
After living with a damp basement for years, this homeowner thought it was time they had something done about it. They had us at TC Hafford Basement Systems take a look and we got to work waterproofing the space right away! We began by burying a WaterGuard piping system below the floor to absorb and guide incoming water to the sump. A SuperSump pump then takes the water and forces it out of the home through the discharge line. Finally, a CleanSpace Wall Liner was used to cover the walls of the basement, brightening up the space and proving an extra layer against moisture build up on the walls.
