The SentrySeal system and SilverGlo are a combination of products that we use to protect the foundation by isolating it from moisture and excessive heat transfer.

The SentrySeal waterproof membrane is 60 mils thick and is specifically designed to be a complete and consistent barrier to block water vapor.

The SilverGlo insulation is waterproof and offers a thermal resistance value of R-11 thanks to the graphite particles infused into the insulation. In addition, the reflective barrier that covers this insulation allows the heat to be reflected and stored inside to reduce the cost of heating humid air.

In Saint-Joseph-De-Coleraine, Quebec, a homeowner was concerned with structural deficiencies within his crawl space, where the rim joist showed signs of deflection due to prolonged exposure to elevated moisture levels. This had led to noticeable sagging in the floor above. To restore structural integrity, we installed three SmartJack crawl space support beams, specifically engineered for load-bearing reinforcement. Each SmartJack support beam, fabricated from corrosion-resistant galvanized steel, was site-cut to exact length and aligned vertically beneath the compromised rim joist. Once adjusted to specification, the SmartJack beams effectively transferred structural loads from the sagging joist to the engineered footing, mitigating further settlement and restoring uniform floor plane elevation. 

Mr. Mayrand, situated in Thetford Mines, Quebec, was stressed because he had water infiltration in his basement and when he removed the floor, he discovered a lot of mold. He decided then to go online and find a solution. Upon discovering our website, he filled out our request form. We quickly responded to his request and scheduled a free inspection at a time that was convenient for Mr. Mayrand. Our specialist Houssem Ben Salah drove to Thetford Mines at the scheduled time to meet Mr. Mayrand and complete the inspection. Upon noticing the gravity of the damage, Houssem decided the proper course of action would be to install 5 PowerBrace™ Foundation Wall Repair System to address the foundation issues, as well as a WaterGuard® Basement Drainage System combined with a CleanSpace® Basement Finishing Wall System, and a SuperSump® Premier Sump Pump System to address the water infiltration issues.

Our foremen Cedrick and Colin were tasked with this big job and headed to the site in Thetford Mines to complete the installation. They first dug trenches along the foundation walls in the basement and a pit for the sump pump. They then installed the WaterGuard® Basement Drainage System in the trenches, as well as the SuperSump® Premier Sump Pump System in its pit. The WaterGuard is designed to capture water seepage through walls and leaks along the wall/floor joint and directs it to the sump pump. They then installed the CleanSpace® Basement Finishing Wall System all over the basement walls. This system creates an effective moisture and vapor barrier. The wall covering forces all wall seepage and moisture to flow into your perimeter drain system. Finally, they installed the PowerBrace™ Foundation Wall Repair System. This patented foundation wall repair system is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time.
