Roof Replacement in Barkhamsted, CT

This single-family home in Barkhamsted, CT was in need of a new roof. To start, we tore off 2 layers of existing roofing materials and replaced all damaged plywood decking. We installed 2 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Black. Lastly, we removed and replaced all chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

A New Roof in Prospect, CT

This Prospect, CT dwelling is an impressive feat of modern architecture. Unfortunately, the roof was falling into disrepair and needed a full replacement. The windows are obviously a focal point on this home, so it was vital for Klaus Larsen to make the skylights look equally as exquisite. 2-Story Roof Replacement in East Hartford

A Condo Association that owned this house in East Hartford called us to replace the roof. They had leaks in the roof and needed a permanent solution. Previously a second layer was installed when the 1st roof started to have problems. Our crews arrived at the home around 7:00 am, tore off the shingles, and were done and cleaned up before the end of the day. We install Ice & Water on every job and above code. We also use synthetic underlayment along side the Ice & Water to protect the plywood. In fact, we replaced all the rotten plywood after the old roof was tore off.

Partial Roof Replacement in Plantsville, CT

On this job in Plantsville, CT we focused primarily on the rear of this contemporary home. We first took care of one layer of old shingles, and replaced them with OC True Def Duration Estate Gray shingles. As leaking was centralized around the skylight, we also added a new Velux skylight with fresh air deck mounts. Along with the shingles, Klaus Larsen incorporated one VentSure ridge vent. The roof on the front was still healthy, so we were able to balance the rear out, in order to fully protect this home.
