This one-family home in Cheshire was in need of a roof replacement due to signs of aging and wear. To start this project we tore away one existing layer of roofing materials and cleaned up all debris, including using a magnetic roller to ensure nail cleanup. We then evaluated the condition of the roof deck and discovered that there were 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking that were in need of a replacement. Two rows of IKO Gold Shield Ice & Water Barrier were installed to protect the roof from the elements, and a Stormtite Synthetic Underlayment was installed to repel water. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Charcoal Grey colorway. To finish this job, we replaced the existing vent pipe boot and chimney flashing. This Cheshire home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing.

Gutters are an essential asset to any house. They prevent flooding in the basement as well as damage to siding and the shrubbery around the home. We recently completed a roof replacement in Avon, CT. This replacement included the entire roof on garage and main house. We removed and replaced the chimney flashing and the existing vent pipe boots. We also installed a new skylight to add new natural light to the home!

We then installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed the Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Weatherwood. We then removed and replaced the chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing on both the house and the garage. We finished the job by removing the existing vent pipe boots and replacing them with brand new Perma-Boots in the color black.
