Meri S. of Mattoon, Illinois, had water leaking in her basement near her staircase, so she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Luke B. recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump, WaterGuard, and IceGuard. 

Foreman, Tyler S. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump is guaranteed to to keep your home dry with its three-in-one design that includes a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup pump. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it works to collect water that seeps through the walls. It then guides that water to the sump pump where it can be fully removed from the house. 

Now Meri S. has a watertight basement. 

This Mattoon, Illinois basement was ravaged with leaks during extended periods of rain. It seemed that at least once a month, the basement would fill with nearly a quarter-inch of water, requiring constant cleanup. In order to waterproof this space, a Woods Basement Systems team installed a WaterGuard drainage system. These gutter-like drains are place underneath the floor at the base of the leaking walls to catch any and all water. 

A sump pump was failing to pump out the amount of water that was entering it in Mattoon, IL, so the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system assures protection from common problems with an ordinary pump. It can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. This basement will now have no issue staying dry thanks to this system!

Kathy H. of Mahomet, Illinois was distressed by the mold growth under her carpet. The mold was a result of water leaking into her basement where the floor meets the wall. 

To solve her mold problem and keep her basement dry, system design specialist Greg B. designed a solutison. WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system, was installed by foreman Juan H. WaterGuard guides water to the TwinPack sump pump system and away from the basement. 

As the picture shows, the drywall was also damaged by water. Kathy chose to have EverLast Half-Wall installed to restore her basement to dry and beautiful.

Mike and Sheila of Mahomet, Illinois were upset to find water leaks and cracks in their basement. Water would seep into the basement after heavy rains that overtime led to foundation cracks. WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of their basement, which is where all water enters into the basement. WaterGuard ensures that any water that enters into the basement is drained to the sump pump, which then pumps the water out of the home. In this before and after you will see the new WaterGuard draining system installed. Once the cement dries the basement will look seamless!
