Repairing an Unstable and Leaking Basement Wall in Charleston, IL

A foundation was failing in Charleston, IL, as the current wall support wasn't working. The wall was continuing to crack and leaking water as well. To solve this issue, Specialized GeoLock Wall Anchors were first installed. These longer wall anchors are a customized solution for extreme foundation failure, as they will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. The cracks will also be closed so that no water can leak through. Additionally, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Any wall leaks will also be drained down to the perimeter drainage system. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable and dry for years to come!

Old, Inefficient Sump Pump Replaced With TripleSafe In Olney, IL

This Olney, Illinois homeowner was having issues with water leaking into his basement whenever it rained. All of this moisture made it difficult to make effective use of the space, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help. A Woods team installed under-floor WaterGuard drains to catch leaks and replaced the home's old, inefficient sump pump with a brand new TripleSafe sump system. The basement is now totally water-free!

Maintaining TripleSafe™ Protection

This home in Olney, IL. had a TripleSafe™ sump pump system installed to prevent a flooded basment. The TripleSafe™ system is the perfect system for protecting a home because it is packed with features like backup pumps, floor drains, battery backups and specially engineered liners and lids to name a few.

To make sure this system stays at the top of its game, Mike B. from Woods Basement Systems performed a routine maintenance inspection. During this inspection, Mike checked each of the three sump pumps as well as the other features of the system. He also checks and - if needed - replaces the battery for the battery powered backup pump. If any of the pumps don't work properly he can even replace them that same day to ensure the TripleSafe™ system is in the best condition it can be in with no down time to wait for repairs.

The TripleSafe™ system is the top of the line for protecting basements from flooding and it will stay that way thanks to the pro-active efforts of Mike B. and the Woods Basement Systems team.

Replacing a Faulty Sump Pump in Olney, IL

A sump pump was no longer functioning properly in Olney, IL, so it was replaced with a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system assures protection from everyday problems with an ordinary pump. The TripleSafe can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water.

Additionally, a TimeMachine Data Logger was installed on the pump. This system takes the guesswork out of sump pump maintenance. It will record and report up to ten years of data like battery status, power outages, relative humidity, and temperature history, and connects to a smartphone app via Bluetooth to make it easy to review a date range of usage history. This will make it easier to spot potential problems early to help avoid water damage. This basement will now stay dry all the time thanks to these systems!
