With water regularly leaking into their basement through a gap below a door leading in from the outside, this Pleasant Point, ME homeowner needed a solution to keep the water at bay. To combat the water leaking into this basement through the opening below the door, a WaterGuard piping system along with TrenchDrain section were buried within the perimeter of the floor. With the TrenchDrain running below the door, flush with the floors surface, any water leaking into this basement in the future, either through the door or foundation, will be captured by the WaterGuard and guided to the homeowners existing sump where the water will exit the home.

Now that this homeowner has a WaterGuard piping system protecting their basement, any leaking moisture will no longer become a puddle on their floor. A flooding basement is now a thing of the past for this Pleasant Point, ME homeowner.

After the most recent flooding of their basement, this homeowner living in Lubec, ME had had enough. They decided it was time they had the space waterproofed and called us at TC Hafford Basement Systems to get it done. When our crew arrived at the home, they got started right away installing WaterGuard piping beneath the perimeter of the basement floor. Our crew got started by installing a new SuperSump pump to remove any collected water from the basement. Feeding directly into this sump, a WaterGuard piping system was installed around the perimeter of the basement floor. Buried beneath the floors surface, this piping will pull in any future leaks before they reach the inside of the basement. Now any water will be diverted out of the home without causing flooding in this homeowner’s basement again!

Homeowners from Eastport, ME were excited for help with their wet basement. They already had sump pump that wasn't keeping up, and they said they would love to not have to worry about the wet basement anymore. We installed a brand new TripleSafe sump pump, the top of the line in pump systems. The TripleSafe features two Zoeller pumps, one that acts as a back up in case of pump failure, or they can work together to handle higher capacity water events.
