An uneven sidewalk is not only an eyesore, but it can be extremely dangerous to pedestrians. To remove the trip hazards created by the sinking and settling concrete, our concrete repair team injected PolyLevel beneath the slab. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that is extremely strong and durable. When it hardens beneath the concrete, it is able to stabilize the slab and withstand the weight for years. PolyLevel does not break down, it is waterproof and environmentally friendly. The sidewalk is now permanently stabilized and safe for pedestrians again!

A resident in Hanover, New Jersey noticed their concrete sidewalk was settling. Looking for a solution, they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems for an inspection to opinions for a permeant solution.  Our System Design Specialist, Jeff Pitek, explained that the soil underneath was the main problem causing the concrete slab to settle. He recommended our PolyLevel Concrete Raising Solution. PolyLevel is a waterproof foam that fills the voids and raises the slabs back towards their original position. 

Our foreman installed the PolyLevel Injection System which is done by drilling small penny- size holes into the concrete and injecting the foam into the voids underneath. PolyLevel is environmentally friendly and light weight, which will not add weight to the existing soil.

A Cedar Knolls, NJ, homeowner wanted to repair their sinking concrete patio, so they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems for an estimate. We used the Polylevel Injection to lift, level and stabilize the entire concrete area. Leveling the patio removed all the minor trip hazards, allowing the furniture to be uneven in the ack. The joint was sealed to ensure no water erosion underneath the soil.  

The soil beneath this homeowner's patio was eroded and caused the concrete to sink and settle, creating a void between the home and the patio surface. Our team was able to lift the patio back to its original position and seal the gap with PolyLevel.
