Over time a homeowner in Swarthmore, PA grew increasingly frustrated with persistent water seepage that had been disrupting their basement and raising concerns about potential long-term damage. With recurring moisture issues affecting both the functionality and safety of the space, they reached out to Quality 1st in search of a permanent solution.

After a thorough inspection of the basement, our team designed and installed a dynamic waterproofing system, including our patented WaterGuard Drainage System, our powerful TripleSafe Sump Pump, and our mold-resistant CleanSpace Wall Panels to provide effective moisture control.

These systems worked seamlessly together to eliminate water intrusion, transforming the basement into a dry, healthy, and livable space that the homeowner could confidently use for years to come!

Mold was growing and insulation was falling down in this crawl space due to high humidity levels and the crawl space in general just being damp. 

We first removed all of the old insulation and did a MoldX 2 treatment to rid all of the mold, then we installed SilverGlo insulation, Waterguard a Smart Sump with Probe alarm and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.

This project here was for crawlspace insulation. We came out to this property and removed all of the current fiberglass insulation, which was becoming damp and starting to fall off the ceiling and installed our SilverGlo Insulation and insulation spray foam. SilverGlo features a radiant barrier that reflects heat back into your crawlspace, making both the crawlspace and floors above warmer in the winter months.

This customer reached out to use with issues of the basement window wells leaking in through the basement walls whenever it would rain. The customer currently did not have a drainage system set up for the window wells, so it made sense that once water collected, with nowhere to go, it would just make its way in through the foundation or, in some cases, come in from around the window. We came out and installed 2 WellDucts Window drains, Waterguard and a SuperSump Pump. The Well Ducts are set up to drain directly into the Waterguard, which then flows the water over to the SuperSump to be pumped out and away from the basement.  

We were contacted by this owner about the amount of heavy water coming into the home whenever a rainstorm hits. The homeowner also noticed that the water would be collecting at the corner of the basement where the door and wall meet. Our WaterGuard installation is designed to catch water leakage from the walls and flows in the sub-floor drainage system. This system is invisible to the eye, but it will keep your basement clean and dry by having the water flow into the sump pump.
