Rainfall is the greatest threat to a basement that is prone to leaking. The homeowner of this Highland Park, NJ home was tired of dealing with the heavy flow of water in their basement that came with the heavy rains. They contacted Quality 1st to help relieve any further presence of water in their basement and keep the space safe and dry. Our System Design Specialist Anthony arrived on site to assess the issues of the basement and propose the homeowner with a quote that could fix their problem. Later, our Foreman Miguel was sent out to the home to carry out the waterproofing installation along with our crew. What our crew was able upgrade was replacing the home's sump pump system with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This three-pump system provides three levels of protection against flooding water, and with the UltraSump Battery Backup that was installed along with it, this sump pump system is guaranteed to work even in the event of a power outage. We lined this basement with our WaterGuard Perimeter Drain to channel the water into the sump pump, as well as our TrenchLock Drain Inserts. These inserts allow water down into the drain system without permitting air back up.
We left this home protected and dry, and the homeowner yas satisfied with the peace of mind they had upon our installation completion.

With TripleSafe's backup battery, we can confidently ensure the basement will stay dry and protected against water intrusion. With our team's assistance, this basement is fully prepared to take on any storm!
This crawl space had ground water seepage which left puddles of water. The water was causing humidity which rises from the crawl space into the rest of the home and can cause damage to a home's structure and mold in the home. This family was experiencing mold systems and contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to asses the crawl space problem. Our installation team completed the crawl space encapsulation using CleanSpace which prevents water vapor from escaping the crawl space and going into the rest of the home.
Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a SunHouse window well in this Denville basement. SunHouse window wells let in beautiful, mood-lifting sunlight. Each window well is made with inorganic material that will never rust or rot and will continue to look fresh and great. This small update to the home looks amazing.
A homeowner in Morris County contacted us to Encapsulate their crawl space. They wanted a dry, clean and healthy space underneath their home. We installed our Crawl Space Vapor Barrier Liner known as CleanSpace to the walls and floor of the crawl space. The CleanSpace is a bright white liner that protects the crawl space from mold growth and water. This allows better quality air to leave the crawl space and rise to the first floor of the home.
