We were contacted by a homeowner located in New City NY that were facing concerns of concrete surface settlement near their poolside patio area. After meeting with our system design specialist Joseph, he assessed that the home would require our foreman Ramon to install our specially patented PolyLevel Foam Injections as well as a full application of our ultraviolet-resistant NexusPro Joint Sealant. PolyLevel will successfully lift and restore the sunken slabs to their original surface height, it will also stabilize the walkway by filling in any voids left beneath due to poorly deposited soil. NexusPro Joint Sealant is applied to the surface to safeguard against erosion and to fill any cracks that could potentially permit water intrusions. Now this homeowner can wholeheartedly trust that their pool patio is reinforced to take on any future indications of concrete settlement.
Water intrusion had become a persistent issue for a homeowner in New City, NY, turning their basement into a source of constant worry. After each rainfall, water would seep in along the walls and floor, creating damp conditions and the potential for mold, odors, and long-term structural damage. Realizing that DIY fixes were no longer enough, the homeowner turned to Quality 1st for a permanent solution that would protect their home and restore the basement's functionality.
Following a detailed inspection, our team designed a customized waterproofing plan tailored to the unique layout and needs of the space. We installed our WaterGuard Drainage System along the basement perimeter to capture water at its entry point and redirect it to a sump system before it could spread. To ensure continuous and reliable water removal, even during severe storms or power outages, we paired it with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which includes a primary pump, secondary pump, and a battery backup.
This powerful combination completely transformed the basement into a dry, healthy, and safe environment, giving the homeowner renewed confidence in their home’s protection and value!
Instead of removing and replacing this sidewalk at this Weehawken home, Project Manager, Eder Sanchez and his crew were able to lift each concreteslab and raise it back to level. Now the homeowner can use the sidewalk to get to the backyard without tripping and falling like in the past.
A homeowner in Ridgefield, New Jersey was experiencing water getting into her basement, as well as her sump pump not working properly. Sump Pumps can fail over time if they are not properly maintained. The system works hard to pump water from the basement and over time if not cleaned and flood tested it can fail. A wet and leaky basement can have many negative effects such as musty smells, increased heating and cooling bills, and even mold.
The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Greg Louis, was able to provide an inspection and help them find a solution. He suggested they replace their old sump pump, and install a French drain system. Our foreman, Jonathan Neira, installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump System which has an airtight enclosed lid to prevent any moisture from getting into the basement. This sump pump system has three sump pumps built into a twin liner, and also has a backup pump to kick in if the power goes out. Next, the foreman installed the WaterGuard Drain System which drains into the sump pump system to remove water and keep the basement dry. This drain system is placed along the perimeter of the basement floor, under the slab and on top of the footing to be kept out of the "mud zone." Now, the homeowner does not have to worry about water getting into the basement.
Check out this wet basement solution we did in Ridgefield, NJ! The homeowner was experiencing water issues in their basement, so we had our System Design Specialist, Mike F., inspect the area. Afterward, Mike then suggested our full basement waterproofing system would be the perfect solution for the homeowner.
Our fully basement waterproofing system includes the WaterGuard French Drain System, which collects water seeping through the basement walls. It is then directed to the Smart Sump Pump and is pumped away from the basement. Finally, the SaniDry Sedona filters the air and eliminates musty odors and dampness, so the basement will stay fully dry.
