This customer wanted to sell their home but needed to get it waterproofed first. We removed moldy paneling and replaced the inadequate sump with a SuperSump. We installed WaterGuard to control the water issues and installed SilverGlo insulation on the walls with inserted studs so the customers can replace his own panels.
This customer had a finished basement and started to notice cracks along the drywall, concerned this could be a major issue, they reached out to us to assess.
When arriving at the property, the drywall had already been removed and you could see a noticeable horizontal crack going through the foundation wall. Our solution for this was our Carbon Armor Wall Stabilization Straps.
The Carbon Armor system is 10x stronger than steel but flexible enough to form tightly against the basement wall. The straps are secured to the floor joist and is ideal for quickly stabilizing bowing walls
Customer had a finished basement with minimal natural light and asked that we come out to install an Egress Window for them. An Egress window is a large opening that is large enough to escape out of in case of emergencies and is also a way to allow in a lot of natural lighting.
We first had to do a dig-out and cut through the poured foundation. Once we had the opening for the window, we then installed a 27 x 45 In-Swing Egress with an Egress well, ladder, metal grate, and cover.
This homeowner wanted to make the original basement window into something bigger and have an easier, safer way to exit the home. We removed the old window and installed our Egress Window Well, which is a one-piece unit of high-quality plastic that is reinforced for stability and longevity. Lastly, we finished the basement with our EverLast Wall Restoration, which is an inorganic base molding that will not be damaged by water and is designed to withstand mold or mildew.
