Water damage was evidenced in this Morris County home due to the efflorescence on the crawl space walls. Efflorescence is caused by minerals left behind when water evaporates off of a surface. It looks like white chalky powder. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed CleanSpace wall liners to seal off the crawl space from the humidity of the earth, a sump pump which will drain water out of the crawl space, and a SaniDry crawl space dehumidifier to keep the area moisture free all the time!
