This Pylesville homeowner contacted our company for basement waterproofing. They stated with a heavier rainfall water would come in through one wall of the unfinished basement. Currently, the only waterproofing system in play was a sump pump, but a sump pump will not work if the water getting into the basement, can not make its way over to be pumped out. Our solution to this wet problem was to install our CleanSpace Vapor barrier and Waterguard around the problematic wall. The CleanSpace and Waterguard will work together to get the water coming in through the wall, over to the SuperSump Pump we installed as well.
This homeowner reached out to us regarding water coming through the walls every time it would rain. We installed our WaterGuard sub-floor draining system, which is a non-clogging interior drain system that was developed to keep your basement dry from water. Once the WaterGuard is installed around the given perimeter, we finish up with our CleanSpace Vapor barrier on the walls to reduce moisture and any vapor. This product captures any wall seepage and leaks.
At this home, the owners have been having problems with a foundation crack that has now led to a bowing wall. Our team went out and installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors that will support the bowing wall, then layered with a high-strength epoxy resin and carbon fiber straps. These flexible carbon straps are 10 times stronger than steel and can be installed quickly, stabilizing the home's foundation.
This customer was having a few issues with the foundation in the basement, first the customer had Vertical cracks starting from the floor and going up to the top of the wall, to stabilize this wall we used our Carbon Armour Strip system, which will strengthen and stabilize the wall over time. The second issue was water seeping in through the porous block foundation every time it would rain. Our waterproofing solution was to install a Cleanspace Vapor Barrier,a Trench drain at the entrance of the outside door, Waterguard along the basement perimeter and a SuperSump Pump.
Customer had an old Sump pump that just could not keep up with the amount of water getting into their basement, we came out and installed a TripleSafe Sump pump which can discharge 2200 gallons of water per hour, WaterGuard drainage system which will collect the water coming in through the walls and direct it to that TripleSafe sump pump and then to make sure the humidity levels in the basement stay down, we installed our Sanidry Sedona Dehumidifier.
