A homeowner in Aberdeen, MD, was dealing with persistent water intrusion that left their basement damp, musty, and unusable. Concerned about the long-term effects on their home’s foundation and air quality, they reached out to Quality 1st for a permanent solution. Our team responded with a thorough inspection to identify the source of the problem and designed a customized waterproofing plan tailored to the home’s specific needs.

To address the issue at its core, we installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System, which collects water at the foundation level and directs it to our TripleSafe Sump Pump for efficient removal. CleanSpace Wall Panels were added to prevent wall moisture from entering the space, and an IceGuard Discharge Line was installed to ensure proper drainage even during freezing temperatures. These combined systems worked together to eliminate the moisture problem, resulting in a clean, dry, and livable basement the homeowner can now enjoy year-round.

Customer had a crawl space that was damp 24/7 and feared mold would start to grow any day. Our solution to this problem was to install a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, Drainage Matting a SaniDry Dehumidifier to keep moisture and humidity inside the crawl space to a minimum, SmartDrains which water directed through this ball in cup design is drained beneath the space into a bed of gravel which allows the water to go into a dry well and seep into the soil below. We also installed a SmartSump with Floor alarm, which will sound anytime water passes through to warn you of water in the crawl space.

This crawlspace in Conowingo, MD had a concrete floor that was constantly damp and because of the constant moisture, the insulation started to fall down. Our company's solution to this damp crawlspace was to encapsulate. To start this project off, we first installed our Waterguard around the perimeter of the crawlspace. We then set down our Drainage Matting and installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier over top and even wrapped the piers. To finalize this crawlspace project, we installed 8 brand new vent covers and installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.  

At this property, the basement was unfinished, and mold had started to occur in 2 corners of the area. The owner tried to clean off the mold when he noticed that the cement blocks were damp on the outside of the foundation.
